Energy for the challenge!
Iain Rennie Hospice at Home (IRHH) is excited to announce that Maximuscle is supporting their brand NEW event for 2009...
Maximuscle, the UK's Leading Sports Nutrition Brand is proud to be fuelling the walkers and runners for the first ever Chilterns 3 Peaks Challenge all in aid of the Iain Rennie Hospice at Home (IRHH).
The company, the UK's Leading Sports Nutrition Brand, based in Hemel Hempstead, normally finds itself sponsoring larger National events such as the England Cricket Team (ECB), Ashes tour, the recent British Lions tour and many others. They feel now more than ever it's vital to support local charities such as IRHH.
James O'Shea, Marketing Director at Maximuscle said "We are proud to be giving support to the Iain Rennie Hospice at Home (IRHH) as we know what fantastic work the charity does throughout the Chilterns area and understand that giving something back to the community we are based in is very important. As part of our support, we are supplying all entrants with our new energy drink, Viper, which will help them reach the finish the line and achieve their fundraising target of £60,000."
Kerrie Coote, Community Fundraiser for IRHH is delighted Maximuscle is supporting the charity. She said: "We are really thrilled they are able to help support this exciting event as it means all our entrants will be fuelled for the challenge ahead which is so important whether, they're walking the 5 or 9 mile distance".
"We are hoping for 1000 entrants to take part in the first ever Chilterns 3 Peaks Challenge. If everyone who enters raises £60.00 or more we will easily reach our target of £60,000. With the added support from Maximuscle, we feel that we have an even greater chance of achieving our goal."
The event, takes place at 9am on Sunday 20th September 2009 from Princes Risborough School, and the route takes in the famous Ridgeway Path, including three of the most well-known peaks in the Chiltern Hills - Whiteleaf Cross, Coombe Hill and Ivinghoe Beacon!
