Radio DJ Pete Denton drums up support for the Chiltern 3 Peaks Challenge
Mix96 radio DJ Pete Denton is proud to announce his support for the first ever IRHH Chilterns 3 Peaks Challenge!
After supporting the IRHH Goodnight Walk earlier in the year Pete jumped at the chance to help promote the Chilterns 3 Peaks Challenge on the radio. He said, "the Chilterns 3 Peaks Challenge is such an original event and will be a fantastic day out for the whole family. Mix96 would like to encourage you all to get registered and join us for a great cause and a great day out."
The Chilterns 3 Peaks Challenge will see Walkers and Runners have a choice of either a 5 or 9 mile route along the famous Ridgeway path. The 5 mile walk takes in 2 of the peaks, Whiteleaf Cross and Coombe Hill and the 9 mile route has Ivinghoe Beacon added onto the end.
IRHH are delighted to have received over 550 entries for the event already! Be sure to send your registration forms in as soon as possible and be a part of this fantastic day out.
The money raised will be vital for the Iain Rennie Hospice at Home which costs more than £3.2 million a year to run, and with only 12% of funding coming from the Government they rely heavily on events like the Chilterns 3 Peaks Challenge to keep their nurses on the road.
There are some great prizes up for grabs, so to be in with a chance of winning, a Porsche driving experience, SKM Studios family portrait vouchers or a Champneys Hamper, get out and about with your sponsor form!
Entry to the event is £15 and includes a Chilterns 3 Peaks Challenge t-shirt, all transport on the day and refreshments along the route. To register click here, email c3peaks@irhh.org or phone 01442 890222.
