Iain Rennie Hospice at Home (IRHH) is excited to announce that Porsche Centre Hatfield is supporting their brand NEW event for 2009.

Porsche

The dealership, serving the Chilterns area, first formed an association with the charity through supporting the Goodnight Walk in June this year and are now proud to be the 'official car' of the NEW Chilterns 3 Peaks Challenge!

Perry Robb, dealer principle at Porsche Centre Hatfield, said, "After the success of the Goodnight Walk which raised an amazing £100,000 for IRHH we decided we wanted to be more involved with the charity and were delighted to be asked to support this brand new and exciting event.

We feel that the IRHH Hospice does an extraordinary amount of work in caring and providing support to patients and their families within the Chilterns so it's vital to help support the community through this very worthwhile event. We look forward to helping IRHH achieve their fundraising target of raising £60,000."

Once again, Porsche Centre Hatfield is kindly donating two fantastic prizes. Everyone who raises over £100 in sponsorship will go into a prize draw to win a Special Porsche Driving Day at Silverstone. The lucky winner will be invited to explore the new Porsche Driving Experience Centre based at Silverstone. The Winner will enjoy driving activities, accompanied by one of Porsche Driving Experience drivers. The second prize is for the best dressed male who will be given the chance to drive a fabulous Porsche for 24 hours, insurance and petrol covered. For full prize details click here.

Kerri Coote, Community Fundraiser for IRHH is delighted Porsche Centre Hatfield is once again supporting the charity. She said: "We are really thrilled with the continued support from Porsche, the prizes they are donating are fantastic, we hope they will encourage many people to take part and raise as much money as possible. We are hoping for 1000 entrants to take part in the first ever Chilterns 3 Peaks Challenge. If everyone who enters raises £60.00 or more we will easily reach our target of £60,000. Now with added support from Porsche Centre Hatfield, we feel that we have an even greater chance of achieving our goal."

The 5 or 9 mile route, takes place at 9am on Sunday 20th September 2009 from Princes Risborough School, takes in the famous Ridgeway Path, including three of the most well-known peaks in the Chiltern Hills - Whiteleaf Cross, Coombe Hill and Ivinghoe Beacon.

Entry to the event is £15 and includes a Chilterns 3 Peaks Challenge t-shirt, all transport on the day and refreshments along the route. To register click here, email c3peaks@irhh.org or phone 01442 890222.
